Award-winning Paihia Beach Resort and Spa Hotel based in the beautiful Bay of Islands are coming up to their one-year anniversary of new ownership and want to celebrate it with you by launching the luxury La Spa Anniversary Special.
Since taking over ownership in August 2014, the new owners have developed the most indulgent resort experience for their guests.
Within this first year of new ownership Paihia Beach Resort and Spa Hotel have revamped and rebranded their restaurant Provenir. Executive chef Peter Thornley has run the exquisite restaurant helping it move up from 19th place to second on Trip Advisor. The modern restaurant with a seasonally driven menu made from food sourced locally has been a great success and is a wonderful testament to the beautiful resort.
Paihia Beach Resort and Spa Hotel is also home to the indulgent La Spa Naturale which was on-site originally but has also developed brilliantly over the last year.
Throughout the year small changes have been made around the resort to ensure guests ultimate comfort “we have made small changes domestically but are looking to make some bigger changes after the summer season,” says Lyndsey Morrison, General Manager of Paihia Beach Resort and Spa Hotel.
The success of this gorgeous resort has been recognized in the first year of new ownership with nominations for the World Luxury Hotel Award 2015.
Looking to the very bright future for Paihia Beach Resort and Spa Hotel the resort wants to work towards gaining back its five-star status: “We really want to achieve five-star status once more and are also interested in entering more award programmes in the future,” says Lyndsey. “We are one of the few resorts with a luxury spa in Paihia and the Bay of Islands and we are proud of that fact,” continues Lyndsey.
“We also want to be more involved in the local community in the winter season as well as the summer and support other businesses in Paihia, the owners of the resort are really passionate about our local community” Lyndsey says.
