Car of the Month: 2013 Mazda Premacy

Topcars Direct has nominated the 2013 Mazda Premacy as February’s Car of the Month.
“It’s a great value family vehicle,” says Topcars CEO Blake Johnson.
Priced at $13,455 (plus on-road costs), Blake says, “it’s a three-year-old vehicle for not a lot more than a nine-year-old one.”
No wonder Blake’s excited about it. The late-model, seven-seater vehicle features central locking, power steering, a reversing camera, air bags and retractable electric mirrors.
The Mazda Premacy is a perfect family car for a number of reasons. The ABS anti-lock braking system is an important safety feature which prevents the wheels locking up during emergency braking, therefore avoiding uncontrolled skidding.
Each of the seven seats has its own seat belt. There are child seat anchor points, making it easy to safely secure a child seat into the car without needing to use the adult seatbelts to secure the infant seat.
Another handy feature for busy parents is the remote locking system. Anyone with small children knows the challenge of getting kids out of a car along with their bags, toys and car seats, all the while trying to stop the little ones running off. Remote locking means you can hold onto the kids while you lock the car!
It’s even got sliding rear doors so you can park in tight spots without the worry of swinging open the door and bumping the car next to you.
Although this is a seven-seater vehicle, if you don’t have seven people to transport and you’d like more room for luggage or toys, it is possible to fold down the extra seats.
“Once you fold the seats down it’s like a small to medium sized station wagon,” says Blake.
The 2013 Mazda Premacy boasts climate air conditioning and cup holders, ensuring the driver, as well as the passengers, are comfortable and relaxed.
“It’s a great value late-model family vehicle with a modern shape,” says Blake.
