A dedicated website has been created in time for this year’s TSB Bank Festival of Lights.

“It’s a great way to promote this iconic festival and also get the general public more involved,” says Team Leader Events Melissa Devine.

The website, at www.festivaloflights.co.nz, has information about the festival’s On Stage and Summer Scene programmes, a photo gallery, route map, a media section, an online survey and a guest book for people to leave comments about the event.

“We have a competition running for people to send in a photo of themselves at the festival, which should attract entries from locals as well as visitors from outside Taranaki,” says Ms Devine.

“Visitors to the site can also download wallpapers for their computer or register to become a Festival Friend.

“There’s a lot to see on the website and it will be very useful to the public during the festival’s seven-week run.”

This year’s TSB Bank Festival of Lights runs from this Sunday (16 December) until 10 February. It will be followed by a limited Friday-Sunday season until the weekend of 23 March to coincide with the Jack Johnson concert at the TSB Bowl of Brooklands in Pukekura Park.

The festival’s website was created by New Plymouth company About Image.
