Book Directly for the Best Deals at Hamilton Hotel, Ventura Inn and Suites

Kenneth Mitchell wants you to book directly with his Hamilton hotel, Ventura Inn and Suites, rather than book through a third party booking site.
“Sites like Booking.com and Expedia are fine to use the first time you book,” says Mr Mitchell, “but we recommend guests book directly with us the next time they want to stay and every time after that. This will afford them a number of advantages.”
One of those advantages is Ventura Inn and Suites’ loyalty programme for regular guests. For every 10 nights stayed, the guest receives one night free.
“We realise saving money is important for our guests,” says Mr Mitchell, “and our loyalty programme will help them with that.”
Mr Mitchell says some people don’t realise booking sites take a commission from the hotel. He says Ventura Inn and Suites, like most hotels, would prefer to put the money back into renovations and maintenance on the hotel to make it more comfortable for their guests, rather than pay a commission to a booking site.
If guests have made their booking directly, they’re also more likely to be able to make changes to rooms or dates. If there are any problems that arise, it’s a lot clearer and easier to negotiate directly with the hotel.
Finally, Mr Mitchell says booking directly supports local businesses.
“At Ventura we believe it’s important to support local Hamilton and New Zealand businesses,” he says. “We support other local businesses, as well as Tourism Waikato, to increase the number of visitors to our region.”
