Choice Hotels introduces exclusive member price for loyal customers

Hotel group guarantees guests best available rate in market when booking direct

Choice Hotels Asia-Pac, one of New Zealand’s largest hotel franchise groups, today launched its new Choice Privileges Member Price initiative, giving members of the company’s loyalty programme; Choice Privileges, access to 5 per cent off the best available room rate when they book online direct through Choice’s website.

Choice Hotels Asia-Pac CEO, Trent Fraser, said that it’s exciting that Choice can now guarantee the best price through its own website.

“We can now categorically state that when you are booking a Choice Hotels property and you book through ChoiceHotels.co.nz, you will have access to the best available price on the market,” Mr Fraser said.

“Our message to guests is simple: stop looking around for the best price, because if you’re on the Choice Hotels website, you’ve found it.”

The new discounted price is the latest instalment in Choice Hotels’ evolution of its loyalty program. Earlier in the year the company introduced a range of new initiatives aimed at providing increased value to its loyal members. The outcome of this has been a significant increase in guests joining the program in 2016, taking full advantage of the program benefits whenever they are staying at a Choice hotel globally.

“Just recently we reached 300,000 Choice Privileges members in the Asia-Pac market,” said Matt Taylor, Choice Hotels Asia-Pac General Manager, Marketing.

“The new exclusive member price will provide a great additional benefit for all of our loyal guests, as well as providing even further incentive for us to attract more people to the program in the future. We are excited by the opportunities that this new exclusive price creates for our brands and properties.”

To take advantage of the new discounted price, guests must be or become a Choice Privileges member and use the Choice Hotels website to book their accommodation. For those travellers wishing to sign-up, registration to Choice Privileges is free and can be done online or at any Choice Hotels property.
