Tennis Success for Rangi Ruru Girls' School
Rangi Ruru’s premier tennis team yesterday (8 February) won the Christchurch qualifying tournament beating Christchurch Girls’ High 6-0 and St Margaret's College 4-2.
Anne Bissland, Rangi Ruru’s Premier Tennis Convenor says, “The girls played very well and have a busy competition schedule ahead of them this term.”
Yesterday's result at Wilding Park qualifies them to compete in the South Island Championships in Timaru from 3-5 March for an opportunity to qualify for Nationals.
