Brand new menu launched for Gail's of Tamahere new Café

Gail’s of Tamahere Café is proud to be offering a brand-new menu after opening their doors just last November.
While dining, you can visit and enjoy their beautiful gardens and superb fresh food from their new menu created by the head chef at Gail’s of Tamahere Café.
If you wish to break away from the city life, this is the place to be.
From Tuesday to Sunday the café is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can enjoy morning or an afternoon tea in their peaceful garden setting.
A new main vegetarian option has been added to the menu featuring roasted pumpkin and chickpea cake. It is served on citrus mesculin and is topped with roasted capsicum salsa and feta.
For the meat eaters, one dish which is a must try is the orange braised chicken with a side of mint, nut, apple and beetroot salad it has an apricot dressing.
A popular dish at Gail’s is the smoked salmon cakes, that have been around since the café opened its doors.
Gail Jones, who also runs the popular Gail’s Flower Studio in Hamilton, is the managing director and owner of Gail’s of Tamahere Café.
“Salmon cakes are one of our top favourites,” Gail Jones says.
These are served with spinach, avocado and toasted tomato salad with chunky tartare and lemon juice.
And you won’t be able to resist the completely new dessert menu, including apple and rhubarb sponge, lemon tart and chocolate chess slice.
Alongside these dishes, Gail’s of Tamahere Cafe is also offering a brand-new children’s menu, so the children won’t be disappointed either.
The café offers excellent service and even better food and dining. Gail’s of Tamahere Café is available by appointment / booking for dinner service. And is also a fully licensed venue for all occasions.
Gail’s of Tamahere Café also has a small savoury items and sweets/cakes available, served with excellent coffee selection.
