A weekend booking at Gails of Tamahere Restaurant is the perfect way to warm up this winter

For a taste of high class this winter a trip out to Gails of Tamahere is the perfect way to warm up on a cold weekend morning. New chef Richard Cox has prepared menus which appeal to all and provide the restaurant with a blend of high quality flavours.
“I would advocate coming in during the weekends at Gails of Tamahere this winter. A Sunday brunch or lunch is the perfect way to relax on a cold winter morning and the comfort of our food makes for a great time out,” says Gail Jones, owner of Gails of Tamahere.
The brunch and lunch weekend menus both are at an affordable $21.50 per item. Kids platters are also available at $8 for under 5s and $12 for under 12s. Side dishes including bacon, chicken rashers, pork sausages and much more are also available.
The winter menus provide a mixture of flavours. There is a Turkish dish available on the lunch menu along with Goulash which is a Hungarian creation. Along with what is available, Mr Cox has the ability to create menus according to booking. His experience in the industry allows Gails of Tamahere the flexibility of suiting any need.
“Bookings are preferable, because this allows those who book the ability to have their menu catered to them. For example, Richard has created menus for Indian celebrations as well as many Asian bookings too. It is great to be flexible in what we provide,” says Mrs Jones.
