Leading Cambridge shoe store Mavis & Mick showcase at the Gorgeous Glitz & Glamour event.

Last Saturday, Cambridge’s favourite shoe store Mavis & Mick got to show off their spectacular range of shoes at the Gorgeous Glitz & Glamour event in Tauranga.

This social occasion for women was run by the National Party and was held at the Tauranga Club at the lavish Devonport Hotel. Women were invited to bring their friends along for a day of trying new season jewellery and accessories as well as getting some fashion advice.  

Mavis & Mick, which has stores in Cambridge and at Waihi Beach, provide leather shoes for all occasions and all genders, with a dedication to service that pushes them beyond other shoe stores, was enthusiastic to be a part of this event.

Excited attendees were one of the first people to lay their eyes on some of the new styles that will be debuting at Mavis & Mick next season. “Over 70 Ladies and the odd Gentleman attended the function from 3pm till 5pm where we showcased some of the new season range which will be in our stores from 1st September,” says Mikala, owner of Mavis & Mick.

The entire range was well received by the attendees with a few favourites becoming very evident.

 “New to Mavis & Mick this season is United Nude which was very successful with the ladies and I’m sure they will be loved by everyone,” adds Mikala.

“We also demonstrated a few of the Paula Ryan handbags which are featured in this month’s Simply You Magazine and in Paula Ryan’s own style magazine,” adds Mikala.

Attendees also picked up plenty okf style tips and tricks, including how to take your day time look and style into night time chic. “Jennifer the host talked about colour spectrum to suit your skin tone, weather you are a Spring, Summer or Winter person,” says Mikala.
