It may seem strange, as we are in the depths of winter, to be thinking about your Christmas function, but Plume Vineyard Restaurant’s Christmas menus are becoming so popular that they are urging people to make their booking now so as not to be disappointed come December.
Just imagine yourself on a beautiful summer day, driving the short trip up to Matakana, looking forward to a fabulous day surrounded by vineyards, enjoying a delicious meal and superb wines at Plume Vineyard Restaurant.
This Year’s Delicious Christmas Menu consists of the following tasty Entrées, a choice of any three mains and a fabulous festive platter for desert. Entrées: Duck Confit Savoury Crêpe, Seafood Terrine, Pepper Coulis, Syrah Grape Juice Jelly Crystals, Marinated Olives from Plume’s vineyard and Grilled Halloumi Salad.

Akaroa Salmon, lemon kelp, warm quinoa salad, orange ketchup, cucumber ribbons OR
Fish of the Day, creamy fondant potatoes, zesty butter, baby cos jam OR
Chicken Supreme, pan fried, stuffed with chorizo, sage, home-made brioche, Syrah reduction, polenta fries, OR
Roast Beef Eye fillet, Yorkshire pudding with brandy and blue cheese cream, baby vegetables, pepper jus OR
Champagne Ham Roulard, Prosciutto wrapped, saffron poached baby pear, cranberry and spinach roll, Calvados cream.
Desert – Festive Platter of petit fours, spiced chocolate log, raspberry mousse, fruit mince tart, rose water pannacotta, pistachio tuille.
Vegetarian, Gluten Free and Dairy Free options available if known in advance.
$85pp with minimum of 15 guests. Add a glass of Plume Vineyard’s Sparkling Rose (methode traditionelle) ‘JOY’ for $12. Available for lunch, Wednesday to Sunday, and dinner Friday and Saturday. Open on other days for parties of 50 or more.
