The Bedford School of Music & Performing Arts Christmas at Friendly Bay Concert

The Bedford School of Music and Performing Arts NZ is putting on its annual Christmas at Friendly Bay concert on Nov 25 following the Christmas parade. Featuring Students of the school, Encore Drama and dance, #ROAR, Harmonix, The Reed street Posse, The Bedfords, Fully Charged, Rob Greaney and more. TBSOM have also just released its 3rd The Future Is Now digital album with a whopping 23 tracks Via bandcamp. Christmas at Friendly Bay concert is a free concert and a chance to give back to the community that we love.

The concert is a showcase of some of the talent that is featured at our The Future Is Now Music Festival held in May each year. This is part of the schools developmental program giving artists and students performance experience and opportunities. While also teaching them their value in the music industry. The musical environment is getting harder to navigate and that's why the school has been doing business this way for the past 5 years. Music lessons are just the beginning of what Jae and Miriam Bedford founded. It's all about social development. People of all ages are gaining life skills through Music, Drama & Dance. This is just the beginning for TBSOM as planning has been for the biggest #TheFutureIsNow Music Festival ever, pulling in events the school has been running for many years such as Oamaru's got X-Factor, Belt it out Busking contest, TFIN Battle of the bands, and Song poets corner Songwriting contest.
