 “We have a full offering all under the one roof. You can get everything you need at good prices,” says Clare Gallagher, who owns and operates the store with her husband, Richard.

An iconic New Zealand brand, Four Square Edmund Road, is a one stop shop for your grocery needs. “We have bakery, food to go, butchery, fresh produce, grocery, lotto, chilled bear and wine,” adds Clare.

Clare and Richard Gallagher took over the business only on September 4, but it didn’t take long for them to get working right alongside their local community.

“Currently Four-Square Edmund Road support Aorangi School with term awards, has sponsored the Year Book of Western Heights Primary School and most recently, donates food and goods to the new Rotorua drop-in centre, and we are looking forward to supporting more community-focused Social Giving projects,” adds Clare.

Clare and Richard Gallagher had previous business success before coming to Four Square Edmund Road with Hamilton’s number one motel, Argent Motor Lodge in Hamilton. Clare and Richard Gallagher, who were owner operators of the business received regional, national and international guests and were rewarded with industry and business awards.

These awards included the Westpac Waikato Business Excellence Awards - Emerging Business of the Year 2014, AA Traveller Supreme Host of the Year for New Zealand 2014 and TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for Customer Service for New Zealand 2013, 2014 and 2015.

During their time at Argent Motor Lodge they had major focus on providing quality customer service. They received TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Award for Customer Service for The South Pacific 2013, 2014 and 2015, in which they ranked in the top 25 for The South Pacific.

Clare and Richard have not wavered in the commitment in providing dedicated and excellent customer services to everyone that walks into their Four Square Edmund Road store in Rotoura.
