In an act of Social Giving, The Christmas Heirloom Company offers community groups, charities and organisations a chance to fundraise through their fun Christmas Demonstrations.

The PACT Group recently held their own demonstration night at the Christmas Heirloom Company in Hamilton with donations going to Waikato Women’s Refuge with great success.

“The demonstration night was such a success – we were able to use the Christmas Heirloom store to have a group of guests come and enjoy the magic that is Christmas that certainly comes to life in this store,” says Carla Giberson, Cash Management Analyst at PACT Group.

“We had a quick introduction to our guests as the event was held to raise funds and provide tangible donations to the Waikato Women’s Refuge. We were lucky also to have Raewyn from Women’s Refuge attend the event which was fantastic so we presented her with a cheque for $1000 and four crates of items for the families they support,” adds Carla.

“We chose the Christmas Heirloom store as it was fitting as we approach a time of giving and being thankful – there really is something special about this time of year and being amongst such a gorgeous back drop of trees, lights and beautiful decorations,” says Carla.

During the demonstration the friendly and professional staff at The Christmas Heirloom Company will show a range of insider tips and tricks to make your Christmas a magical one.

“We had refreshments for our guests which they enjoyed throughout the evening and while Anna from the Christmas Heirloom company completed her very enjoyable demonstrations which I know we all certainly got a lot out of and were excited to get home and start decorating!” says Carla.

You and your guests will learn how to perfectly place your lights on the tree without tangling them, as well as creating big beautiful bows to adore your home.

During the demonstration you will also create a gorgeous wreath and a centre piece that would look stunning in your home.

After the demonstration, you will get to peruse The Christmas Heirloom Company store with a 10 per cent discount on purchases made on the evening. “Once the demonstrations were over the attendees were able to purchase items from the store at a discounted rate which really was just a win- win situation for all,’’ comments Carla

‘’We would recommend the Christmas Heirloom Company as an excellent location and organisation to hold a fundraiser as they were extremely welcoming as was their store and our night was such a success for everyone involved,” adds Carla.

The Christmas Heirloom Company demonstrations are a fun-filled evening where you discover all the tricks of the trade. “We are always looking for ways to help out our communities. Our demonstration nights are memorable and entertaining way to fundraise,” comments Shelley, from the head office at The Christmas Heirloom Company.
