Four Square Edmund Road in Rotorua gives back to the community this Christmas.

The season of giving is in full swing at Four Square Edmund Road in Rotorua. In several acts of social giving, the team at Four Square Edmund Road are excited to be giving back to the community this Christmas.

When the good folks at the Living Well Church approached Four Square Edmund Road for a discount on freezer bags for their Christmas Blessing Bag, Clare and Richard Gallagher knew they could do one better. “When they asked us if we could help out with discounting on the cost of freezer bags, we said we'll give them to you for free instead! That way the $200 saved could be better spent elsewhere,” says Clare Gallagher, who owns and operates the store with her husband, Richard.

Rotorua locals are familiar with the awesome work that ‘Anyone can Kai with Harley’ does. “Harley is working hard to be a positive influence in the community by cooking and feeding those who need it most. And he is doing it all for free,” comments Clare. Four Square Edmund Road were delighted to have donated burger buns to his generous cause.

Four Square Edmund Road are also big supporters of their local schools. “At Otonga Primary School the Charlie Car helped us deliver every student lolly pops for their Student Lead Conferences,” says Clare.

“At Western Heights Primary School, we are very excited to be one of the inaugural sponsors of their 2017 School Year Book. These kids and school are amazing,” comments Clare.

Four Square Edmund Road also regularly donate bread and other food items to the shelter and drop-in centre for the Visions of a Helping Hand Charitable Trust.

“We feel so very proud to have been a small part of such a wonderful show of Christmas spirit,” adds Clare.
