ARC holiday hours of operation and media cover

The Auckland Regional Council office at 21 Pitt Street, Auckland will be closed over Christmas, from 12.00pm Monday 24 December to 8.00am Thursday 3 January.

The following services will be available to the public over the holiday period:

Regional parks
For general information, camping and picnic bookings ph (09) 366 2000, 7.00am to 8.00pm Monday to Saturday, and 8am to 6.30pm on Sunday and public holidays (includes 26 December, 1 and 2 January). Only an emergency service operates on Christmas Day.

Arataki Visitor Centre
Open every day from 9.00am to 5.00pm except Christmas Day.

Botanic Gardens
Open every day from 8am to dusk.

Botanic Gardens visitor centre
Open weekdays from 8.00am to 4.30pm, and weekends and public holidays from 9.00am to dusk. Visitor centre closed Christmas Day.

MAXX bus, train and ferry information
Ph (09) 366 6400 or 0800 10 30 80 outside the free calling area from 7.00am to 8.00pm Monday to Saturday, and 8am to 6.30pm Sundays and public holidays (includes 26 December, 1 and 2 January). Closed on Christmas Day. Please visit www.maxx.co.nz .
