The ‘Plume Collection’ is only one hour’s scenic drive north of Auckland, and five minutes from Matakana township, and for a dreamy weekend away, you cannot go past the luxurious Plume Villas. There are now 12 new luxury Plume Villas, from one to three bedrooms, added within the grounds, which all share a fabulous swimming pool, and are all a relaxed stroll to the restaurant.

No matter how long you want to stay (and you will always want to stay longer!), you will find Plume Villas a wonderful, comfortable place to base yourself, while enjoying the sights and sounds of Matakana, with the highlight being the fabulous food and wine at Plume Vineyard Restaurant.

Even before the latest exciting promotion, the restaurant has been sought after as the perfect venue for weddings, conferences, meetings and private events, with its lovely private light-filled function room and divine food. Plume Vineyard Restaurant is superbly situated in a spectacular vineyard location, offering glorious 180-degree views of vineyards, fields, valleys and mountains.

Offering both indoor and patio dining, they are open for lunch from Wednesday to Friday, and Saturdays and Sundays, and wine tastings at their Cellar Door are available from Wednesday through to Sunday to taste their famous Runner Duck wines. Dinner is available every Friday and Saturday, and in the peak summer holidays from 27th December to mid-January, the restaurant and Cellar Door are open daily for lunch and Wednesday to Saturday nights for dinner.
