Kiwi Artist Zap teams up with fellow rapper J.Dot for a powerful new music video.

Two exciting up-and-coming New Zealand music artists, Zap and J.Dot have come together for a fresh new video.

Staring accomplished rappers Zap and J.Dot, the video is shot and directed by talent fine arts photographer Abe Mora.

Energetic entertainer, Zap (Isaac Gibson), is not only a musician but he also brings a fresh take on social entertainment to his thousands of fans on his Facebook page. He is promoted by Hamilton-based MediaPA.

J.Dot (Jake O'Halloran) is a talented artist from the Hibiscus Coast, who has been impressing fans in great fashion with his music.

Abe’s background in fine arts photography means he has an artistic eye for beautifully composed shots for the video. Abe seeks to always be unique with all the works of arts he creates and believes that this comes through those whom he draws inspiration from.

Urbanely influenced, the video was filmed around central Auckland. “The first day of shooting was at night time around Auckland City and has amazing footage,” says Zap. Some of the spectacular scenes include being in the middle of a road with cars going past and in a laundry mat to encapsulate the feeling of inner city madness.

“The second day of shooting was around 4pm where we shot on a rooftop in central Auckland,” adds Zap. Utilising the perfect lighting of the afternoon setting sun, the backdrop provided great scenery of the sky tower and Auckland city.

Taking to the skies to get some fantastic aerial shots, a drone was also used.
