Visitors to the beautiful Fijian resort of Crusoe’s Retreat who want to plunge beneath the azure waters of the Coral Coast, and witness the breathtaking beauty of the Fijian underwater scenery, will be in good hands at Crusoe’s Retreat’s on-site dive centre – Coral Coast Divers.

Gabriel Crouzillat and Alike Schroeder, the couple behind the recently rebranded dive Centre of Coral Coast Divers (formerly Dive Crusoe’s) are both veteran divers, with over 25 year’s diving experience and over 20,000 dives under their belts between them.

They both hold the certification of Advanced and Gold Instructors from Scuba Schools International (SSI) and are PADI-qualified Master Scuba Diver Trainers. This makes Coral Coast Divers’ a PADI-certified dive centre, allowing those who complete the dive courses on offer to become qualified divers, able to go diving anywhere in the world.

The couple says the rebranding of their company, timed with the recent revitalization of Crusoe’s Retreat, made sense, as they operate all over the world-famous Coral Coast and were eager to allow as many visitors as possible to explore the exquisite underwater scenery Fiji offers.

“The company keeps on growing, with a team of professional and experienced Instructors and Divemasters to cater all demands from tourist divers and locals alike,” says Gabriel.

“Open 7 days a week, the two boats bring the guests out to explore the beautiful wonders of the Pacific Ocean on the local dive sites, to Beqa Lagoon, Yanuca and also to Vatulele.”

The team at Coral Coast Divers is composed of instructors from a wide variety of backgrounds, many of whom are Fijian locals who have been diving since childhood and are skilled in boating, underwater photography, and marine biology.

The pair are as versatile as they are experienced, with both being fluent in multiple languages, including English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. Both are lifelong lovers of the ocean and nature, and are active in such environmental causes as Animal Protection Worldwide and Ocean Awareness.

The pair says they were “looking forwar to a new challenge” when they discovered Fiji and found a new opportunity at Crusoe’s Retreat.

“We were amazed by the healthy and pristine coral reefs just minutes away from the beach.”

Gabriel and Alike are currently developing their own “Shark Dive” for more experienced divers looking for the thrill of a close encounter with the many different species of sharks that inhabit the waters of the Coral Coast. Their way of shark diving is completely new to Fiji and different than other operators.

So if you’re planning an unforgettable Fijian experience for your next holiday, book your stay at the idyllic Crusoe’s Retreat now, and pay Coral Coast Divers a visit during your stay for the once-in-a-lifetime experience of exploring the world beneath the waves!
