Fuel Spill Clean Up Continues

As a result of the fuel leak at a service station at the corner of Line Road and Taniwha Steet yesterday, the clean up operation continues and now involves removing one of the fuel tanks from the ground. 

While this takes place, road blocks awill be put in place to restrict vehicular traffic but permit pedestrians access. 

The road blocks are at the following locations:Line Road and Eastview, Maybury and Line Road, Apirana Avenue and Taniwha Street, Taniwha and Elstree Avenue. 

Traffic is still able to come into Line Road from Point England Road to access the town centre but there is no through traffic. 

Motorists using the area are asked to exercise patience and avoid the area whereever possible.
