The flight returns back down the Shotover River valley to Queenstown.

The Glacier – Rivers of Ice Flight to the west of Queenstown is an hour-long experience through the spectacular views of the braided Rees and Dart Rivers, Mt Earnslaw and many magnificent glaciers. Tourists can view the deep blue “Rivers of Ice” and experience a glacier landing before returning to Queenstown. Heli Tours can customise this glacier flight and can shorten it if requested.
