Crash closes Piha Rd

At approximately 3.20pm there was a 2 car collision on Piha Road, Piha.

2 occupants have been seriously injured and have been taken to Auckland Hospital.

Police are urging motorists not to travel to Piha as there is major traffic congestion on Piha Road.

Police have closed Piha Road to carry out a scene examination.

A Police cordon has been put in place at the intersection of Scenic Drive and Piha Road.
