Fatal crash in Wanganui

4.45pm London St (SH 3) Wanganui is currently closed between the intersections with Grey St and Fitzherbert Ave due a fatal crash involving a van hitting a power pole.

Power supply to the area has also been affected by this crash but should be fully restored within the next 5 to 10 minutes.

London Street, Wanganui between Grey and Fitzherbert is expected to be closed for at least another 2 hours while repairs are made to the power pole which was damaged in the crash.
