In an act of Social Giving, New Zealand-wide accounting specialists Tutbury & Associates Limited have confirmed their continued support of children’s charity KidsCan.
KidsCan gives Kiwi kids in need with food, clothing and health items at school, so when they get into the classroom, they are best possible position to learn. KidsCan believe that education should be equal opportunity, so that all children, regardless of what their social economic background can have an equal chance.
“We are proud to support the amazing work that the good people at KidsCan do,” says Kelly Tutbury, Accountant and Managing Director at Tutbury & Associates Limited.
According to KidsCan an estimated 290,000 live in hardship and over one in four children in New Zealand are living without the basics. KidsCan starts its work with children at primary school level and supports them for as long as they need it, right through high school in some cases, but they can only do this with the support of the public. “KidsCan provide disadvantaged New Zealand children with the basics so that they can focus on their education which is really important for their future,” adds Kelly.
“Giving back to the community is a big part of the way things are run here at Tutbury & Associates Limited,” adds Kelly. The team at Tutbury & Associates Limited are proud to be able to give back to their community through social giving by supporting KidsCan and they urge other business to do the same
