Awesome Adventures Fiji has the perfect solution for those short on time but who want to pack in as much as they can during a trip to this perfect slice of Pacific paradise. The Fiji-based tourism company has three Short Breaks ideal for travellers with limited time but who crave a taste of the unique adventures the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands have to offer.

The ‘Sea’s Every Day’ adventure takes places over 4 days and 3 nights and visits 3 islands. It begins with the Seaspray Day Adventure in the Mamanucas which will see you snorkelling in the turquoise waters surrounding Modriki where the Tom Hanks film Cast Away was set. Next you’ll visit a traditional Fijian village to meet the locals before spending the night at gorgeous little South Sea Island, one of the treasures of the Mamanucas.

Day two includes one of the region’s most popular experiences, the ‘Ultimate Encounters: Snorkel with Sharks’ experience where you’ll get in the water with reef sharks, followed by a night in the Yasawas at Barefoot Kuata Resort. On day three you’ll travel further north to Mantaray Island Resort where you’ll swim with the majestic manta rays (from May to October).

Your second experience choice is the ‘Short & Shark’ adventure. This 3 day, 2 night, 2 island experience includes a day enjoying the many activities available at South Sea Island before travelling north to Barefoot Kuata Resort in the Yasawa Islands. Here you’ll get in the water for the ‘Ultimate Encounters: Snorkel with Sharks’ experience’ with whitetip and blacktip reef sharks either in the afternoon of day two or the morning of day three. There will also be plenty of time to explore Kuata Island’s volcanic peaks and relax by the resort’s pool, bar and restaurant area over a refreshing drink or two.

Finally, the ‘Ultimate Encounter’ experience takes over 2 days and one night at Kuata Island to give you the opportunity to snorkel with Fiji’s harmless reef sharks. If you have any time left during your stay, a visit to Malamala Beach Club Fiji should be top of your must-do list.

The world’s first island beach club, just 25 minutes from Port Denarau, is surrounded by crystal-clear waters and a white sand beach, and offers a delicious à la carte menu, hand-crafted cocktails, a resort-style infinity pool, complimentary WiFi, towel service and use of non-motorised watersports equipment.

There are full day passes to Malamala Beach Club available for FJD$169 or new half day passes for FJD$149 (Wednesdays to Sundays only).
