Traffic delays north of Auckland

Motorists travelling North on SH1 from Auckland are warned to expect delays in the Silverdale-Orewa-Puhoi region due to extensive traffic volumes at this time.

SH16 is a suggested alternative for motorists travelling North. SH16 is accessed from the Western end of the North-Western Motorway.

It is expected that traffic volumes will remain high for northbound traffic throughout the day.
