The 2019 New Zealand Agricultural Fieldays is just around the corner and New Zealand’s leading provider of space saving storage systems, tool hooks and tool holders, Bruns, have put together a guide of must-see highlights.
The 2019 New Zealand Agricultural Fieldays will be held at Mystery Creek, Hamilton, over four days, from June 12-15 2019.
The Fieldays Rural Catch sees a range of competitors compete against each other in a series of challenges on their quest for the Golden Gumboot and an impressive prize pool worth more than $25,000.
“The finalists have been selected from around New Zealand to represent the best of the farming community,” says Hec Ramsay, owner of Gisborne-based Bruns.
Foodies are in for the treat with the Fieldays Kitchen Theatre! Exploring the philosophy of ‘from farm gate to dinner plate’, the Fieldays Kitchen Theatre schedule features culinary sessions with celebrity chefs, health and wellness presenters and food experts. The all-star line-up includes Peter Gordon, Simon Gault, Ray McVinnie and Claire Turnbull. “Food lovers won’t want to miss this one,” comments Hec.
“A staple of the New Zealand Agricultural Fieldays is the tractor pull,” advises Hec. Great for all ages, the tractor pull will see boy-racers of the farming world go head to head in this fiercely contested competition. The heats are held Wednesday through to Friday, followed by semi- finals on Saturday. The final will be held on Saturday afternoon
