Hoka One One Taupō Marathon
Put on your running shoes for the Hoka One One Taupō Marathon. “This marathon is ideal for all fitness levels” advises Robert. You can choose from the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km and Kids Dash options. This event will take place on the 3rd August 2019, 7:30am–4:00pm at the Tongariro North Domain.
Rum and Rock Presented by DPA Chartered Accountants
Think you are a rum connoisseur? Taking place on the 13th July at the Great Lake Centre, the Rum and Rock Presented by DPA Chartered Accountants is the event for you. Sample a prime selection of rums from Merchant of Taupō, then get dancing to New Zealand's hottest Rockabilly band, Boom! Boom! Deluxe.
The Taupo Market
Held at the Riverside Park & Unison Amphitheatre, the Taupo Market takes place every Saturday, 9am – 1pm. The market is a great place where you can purchase all of your meat, fish, cheese, milk, breads, cakes, honey and preserves, fresh seasonal vegetables, herbs and fruit, plants and seedlings directly from small local farmers.
