Located on the corner of Victoria Street and Hood Street, Momento City Café is under brand new ownership and Mandeep Singh has an overflow of visually creative ideas for his debut hospitality project. Mandeep took over Momento City Café on May 27, 2019 with a strong desire to bring the life back to one of Hamilton’s most suitably located quick-fix spots. With a new look established, he is extremely excited to show off the finished product.

As well as introducing an aesthetic new look to brighten up the mood, Momento
City Café will soon be showcasing a brand-new menu as well; including rotating monthly specials to keep our tastebuds curious. Momento City Café strives to cater to everyone’s individual needs so you can be sure to find plenty of exceptional options, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. Dairy alternatives (soy, almond and coconut) are also available to suit.

Momento City Café will soon be offering a variety of tap beer, wine and cider so you will be able to wash down your meal with a sneaky alcoholic beverage on your lunch break. Or, drop in for a crisp liquid refreshment to wind down after a long day. Once the liquor license kicks in, Momento City Café will endeavour to keep their doors open until late from Thursday through to Saturday in order to create a humming social environment. This is especially suitable for those who work challenging 9-5 jobs or students catching up to compare notes.

The staff at Momento City Café appreciate how demanding tertiary education can be so they want to offer students special deals when they produce their student identifications instore. These deals may differ from time to time but will surely remain affordable in order to benefit you and your wallet.

Momento City Café is also one of the proud sponsors of Waikato International Students’ Association (WISA), an award-winning student-run club within the University of Waikato. WISA aims to support the integration of both international and domestic students on campus, promoting diversity and encouraging inclusion within the student environment. Some of these students will be performing at the big reveal of Momento City Café’s new look on Tuesday 9 July 2019 (invite only).

So, why not come along and experience the exciting new atmosphere of Momento City Café for yourself.
