Leading Tauranga restaurant, Jack Dusty's Ale House and Restaurant launches a delicious new winter menu.

Jack Dusty’s Ale House and Restaurant in Tauranga are excited to be launching their new winter menu. Full of delicious meals, scrumptious treats and yummy snacks the winter menu is the perfect way to warm you up all winter long.

One of the many highlights of this tasty new menu is the sirloin steak. This steak is cooked to perfection for your liking and is served with eggs sunny side up, ale battered fries and a fresh garden salad.

The classic lamb shank is a kiwi favourite. “The Jack Dusty’s braised lamb shank served on creamy mash matched with seasonal vegetables and a red wine jus,” says Jess Luxton, Owner/Manager at Jack Dusty’s.

Wanting a taste of the ocean? “The Sailors Ale Battered Fish is a fantastic seafood option,” adds Jess.

Don’t want to cheat on that diet? Then check out the Beetroot and Walnut Salad which is gluten free and a great option for vegetarians. “This salad is made from fresh rocket, roasted beetroot, kumara, roasted walnuts, tossed with feta and a plum reduction,” says the man behind the menu, head chef Whaiti Rogers.

Want something to nibble on? Buttermilk chicken tenders, pork and pineapple skewers, quesadilla, crispy calamari and ale battered fries is just taste of what is on the new snack menu.

If you are stopping by for brunch, the new winter brunch menu is sure to have something to satisfy your tastebuds. The Jack Dusty’s big breakfast is the ultimate way to start the day. The breakfast has eggs (any style) bacon, grilled tomato, cheese kransky, baked beans, sautéed mushrooms, potato hash served with toasted ciabatta.

For those with a sweet tooth, Jack Dusty’s have a wide assortment of desserts that are the perfect way to end a fantastic meal at the restaurant. A decadent chocolate fondant laden with rich butterscotch sauce and whipped cream should be the desert of choice for any chocoholic.

If your looking for something a little lighter to end your meal, look no further than the fruity sorbet! This sorbet is made from mango, raspberry and lemon and is served with sherbet and berry compote.
