Proper Pizza Ranks as One of Auckland's Best Italian Restaurants

It’s official – Proper Pizza has been ranked by a Zomato list as one of the best Italian restaurants Auckland has to offer. 

According to a list release entitled the ’10 Best Italian Restaurants in Auckland’ Proper Pizza was ranked among some of Auckland’s finest establishments. The list is based off reviews given by locals and visitors to the restaurant, through the popular app. Users have the ability to rate restaurants they visit out of 5, and Proper Pizza currently holds an excellent ranking of 4.5.

This is the first time that a Franchise Pizzeria has scored as well as or better than some of the countries best Italian Restaurants. It’s a true achievement for Proper Pizza.

Up against them on the list were some of New Zealand’s front runners of the dining scene. Prego is an establishment that has cemented its position in the heart of the Ponsonby Road dining precinct since 1986, and are so well known that their website ‘About Us’ page states “Chances are you know us already”.  Gusto at the Grand is one of the famous restaurants of Auckland’s Skycity precinct, headed up by renowned chef Sean Connolly.

Zomato releases one of these lists every month, and Proper Pizza has found itself secured in a top spot on the list for the past two months now. Fans of the restaurant will have to keep writing good reviews and ranking the pizzeria well in order for it to keep its place – but this won’t be hard to achieve, as Proper Pizza consistently delivers delicious, unique pizzas to its customers.
