UFONE NZ is pleased to announce and welcome Greg King as its new Business Development Manager.  Greg will be responsible for developing UFONE’s medium to large enterprise market share.  UFONE CEO Nigel Rayneau expressed confidence that Greg is ready to handle the job, saying:

“Bringing on a Business Development Manager with the extent and depth of Greg’s industry experience is great news for UFONE. This, combined with his personal drive and motivation, will greatly support the strategic growth of UFONE.”

In line with the UFONE growth plans, Greg has a lot to achieve and tackle in his new role, “The aspect of the job I am most looking forward to is developing the new sales and marketing concepts around our product set and taking these to market,” comments Greg.

Greg brings with him a wealth of experience having previously working with leading global companies. These include Vodafone where he worked as the account director wholesale.

During this time, he was responsible for managing and developing a range of retail clients with additional smaller acquisition component. He also worked for TelstraClear/Clear in a similar position but “with the focus aimed more on the acquisition/development of the wholesale market,” says Greg.

He also worked for Clear Communications as the business development manager focused on the Small and Medium-sized enterprises market. He also brings his business leadership experience from having worked as the Business Development Manager for PBX sales for Panasonic OA in Christchurch.

UFONE NZ is a VoIP (Voice-over Internet Protocol) Telecom company specialising in providing Voice and Internet Services to mid-sized, multi-site companies with mobile workforces. UFONE are also one of only a few providers who run its own VoIP infrastructure and don’t rely on reselling someone else’s services. “Companies of all sizes can access a carrier grade product at a reasonable cost, giving access to tools which will improve staff efficiency and dramatically improving interaction with clients,” advises Greg.

“A commitment to excellence in both installation and ongoing support of customers made UFONE and me a good fit,” adds Greg.
