Commencing on Friday 24 January 2020 at Mill Street Park, the three day celebration will kick off with Sounds of Sevens – a concert featuring headlining act Mitch James alongside performances by Tiki Taane, Jess B, Lee Mvtthews and DJ Aroha. Chart-toppers, Sons of Zion will take the stage on Saturday 25 January during the interlude of the first day of the Sevens tournament and will be joined by singer-songwriter, Louis Baker. The second day of the tournament will take place on the Sunday 26 January and attendees can also participate in carnival games, amusement rides, themed cars and a food festival that will take place all weekend long.
Tickets to the Sounds of Sevens cost $55 per person, while fans can attend the two days of world class sevens plus the Sons of Zion/Louis Baker performances for $107 per person.
