Searching for missing woman

A 54 year old South Otago woman has gone missing in the Tautuku area (South of Owaka/Balclutha). 

She was last seen when she went for a walk at 10am on the 3 January 2008, she has grey hair and was wearing a yellow Paka and Gym shoes. 

Police and search and Rescue personnel have been searching throughout the night. 

A Helicopter was used to search an area she was thought to have been walking in but failed to locate her. 

Ground parties started searching at first light this morning, this will continue throughout the day.
