With Auckland being given the recent level change to Alert Level 2 cabaret performer JoJo Bellini is ready and raring to go with her naughty offering this Auckland Fringe, Bondage Queen Sings the Hits at Basement Theatre for a safe, socially distanced and always consensual show.

“After arriving in Auckland for the first time on Sunday, we went straight into tech rehearsal and came out to the news that we were at alert level 3 from midnight” JoJo says, “Although it was unexpected and a bit disorienting, I am so glad we are in a country that has a government that acts swiftly to contain such a deadly threat to the community and keep us all safe”

JoJo has been in constant contact with both the Auckland Fringe Festival and Basement Theatre to facilitate opening the show on Thursday night.

“The level of communication and support I have received from both Auckland Fringe and Basement Theatre has been so supportive and reassuring as an artist” JoJo says, “the protocols and safety of audiences and performers is always paramount in any theatrical situation and between us we will be able to deliver a kick-ass show for audiences to enjoy under alert level 2.”

Ticket holders for the cancelled Tuesday and Wednesday audiences are welcome to transfer their tickets to another date. Please contact Basement Theatre for more information:
