NZVAPOR Creates Closed Facebook Group

NZVAPOR are in the process of creating a closed Facebook group to run alongside their current Facebook sites, due to the new regulations and all the advertising bans that they  come with. This apparently also includes the standard Facebook site of a vape business which isn’t supposed to show products, promotions or specials anymore because it can be publicly accessed.

So Vape businesses like NZVAPOR are now switching to so called ‘closed groups’, those can be joined only if the group admin confirms the request. That way, businesses can promote their products within the group because all members are invited and approved (aged checked etc). Vape businesses are experiencing difficulties in conversing with their customers, due to overly strict new laws. However, they feel they are really unnecessary because the industry was already very sensible about approaching minors with age gates in place etc.

This new legislation is presenting substantial hurdles to companies like NZVAPOR when it comes to communicating with the customers and closed groups being a (somewhat inconvenient but feasible) solution.

At NZVAPOR all members in that group will also enjoy the advantage of special offers that are only available to group members, explaining that the group is about people sharing their experiences and getting support if needed. In other words, it is a community rather than a strict business operation.

Just to be clear, the standard Facebook site won’t be replaced at this stage. It will still be there but it won’t be used for any commercial activities and can be seen as a gateway to the closed groups which enable users to see the NZVAPOR specials, new products etc. at
