Rolled truck causes delays

Police and other emergency services are currently attending a heavy motor vehicle crash on State Highway 3, Mokau Road Mount Messenger.

The crash site is approx 100 metres North of the Mount Messenger Tunnel. 

The crash involves a south bound, fully laden heavy motor vehicle which has rolled over. 

The vehicle was carrying a load of squash at the time of the crash. 

No other vehicle was involved and the driver is not injured. 

The road way is passable but limited to one lane.

Drivers are asked to take caution in this area until the vehicle is recovered.

This recovery may take a number of hours.
