TA2 Muscle Car Series is the evolution of the American Trans-Am series and caters for modern V8 powered rear-wheel-drive muscle cars. The series ensures a level playing field across all racers, as every car is made up of the same chassis and engine package, developing 525 horsepower. It has been widely popular in the US and Australia due to its focus on driver talent, strict regulations, focus on cost control and the promotion of close competition. There are now 60 cars across Australia who regularly race against each other.
