What is the Warmer Kiwi Homes Programme?
This government initiative will invest millions of dollars into making low-income Kiwi homes warmer and healthier. As of the 1st July 2019, the Warmer Kiwi Home programme began offering grants for heating appliances. This is a four year initiative offering grants covering up to 90% of the cost of heating appliances up to the value of $3000 including GST.
To qualify for the subsidy, you must have a Community Services Card or SuperGold Combo Card (SuperGold card with 'CSC' on the back).
These grants apply up to 30th June 2023.
