Fatal workplace incident, Te Anau

One person has died following a workplace incident at a Manapouri Te Anau Highway premises this afternoon.

Police were called to the address about 3.30pm.

Sadly the person died at the scene.

The death will be referred to WorkSafe and the Coroner.
