Homicide enquiry launched in Taupo

At approximately 2.30am this morning a female was located in Waikato Street, Taupo with serious injuries.

En-route to hospital the female has subsequently died of her injuries.

A homicide enquiry has been launched. Further information will be forthcoming after 10am this morning.
