NZ Business Connect's Te Awa Lakes business networking event delivers visionary insight and great connections

NZ Business Connect capped off another standout chapter in its 2026 events calendar this week, welcoming around 50 members to Te Awa Lakes for an evening of big ideas, great connections and genuine Waikato hospitality.

Held in partnership with Megan Smith & Co. and Lodge Real Estate, the exclusive members-only event brought business owners, professionals and entrepreneurs from across the region together to hear directly from leaders shaping one of Hamilton's fastest-growing residential communities.

The evening's presentations were the talk of the room. Richard Coventry, Managing Director of Te Awa Lakes, delivered visionary insight into the development's progress and its future, giving attendees a firsthand look at ambitions that some in the crowd joked felt bigger than Texas in scale and scope for the Waikato.

NZ Business Connect Chairman Jujhar Randhawa also took to the floor, reflecting on the growth of the NZ Business Connect network and the great connections being forged across the room. His presentation reinforced the organisation's commitment to bringing members face to face with the people actively building the region's future.
