Male dead after crash near Oamaru

At 2305hrs on the 2 of February 2008 a vehicle travelling on State Highway one close to the Oamaru Race Course, crashed near Russell Road. 

As a result of the crash the only occupant a male person died. Police Serious crash and Oamaru Police are investigating the crash. 

The Coroner has been advised and a hearing will be held at a later date to establish the cause of death.
