17-year-old stabbed at Christchurch service station

At 0111hrs on the 3 February 2008 there was an altercation at a service Station on Bealey Avenue Christchurch. 

A 17 year old male received a single stab wound to the chest.

He is in a stable condition in Christchurch Hospital. 

As a result of Police enquiries a 21 year old man has been arrested on a serious assault charge and will be appearing in the Christchurch District Court on Monday the 4 February 2008.
