Body Part Located in Christchurch

At approximately 14.10hrs on Sunday the 10th of February 2008 a member of the public walking with his family located a partially decomposed left leg of a human in the surf near the estuary at The Spit, South Shore, Christchurch. 

Police have referred the case to the christchurch Corner and Pathologist in order to establish it's origin.
