Two dead after rural shooting

At about 5pm Thursday 14 February, the Ambulance Service call centre received a call about a shooting incident at an Isla Bank/Fairfax rural address. 

As a result of this Police were notified. 

Police are now investigating the deaths of a male and female at the address in question. 

The scene has been secured by Police, and staff will be on site over night. 

At this stage the circumstances leading up to the incident are unexplained. 

Police are not looking for any other persons in connection with what took place. 

At this time Police will not be revealing the names of the deceased pending their next of kin being advised.
The Coroner has been notified of the incident.
