One dead after bus vs car

A 33-seater tour bus and car have collided on SH27, Patetonga. 

No injuries to bus-passengers were reported, however the occupant of the car is deceased. 

Emergency services including the Serious Crash unit are currently at the scene investigating the cause of the crash. 

SH27 will be closed for some time at the crash scene, approximately 500m south of the Kaihere School.
A diversion is in place at SH27 & Pioneer Rd. 

No further updates are available & next-of-kin have yet to be notified.
