Man dead after being hit on road

At about 1am this morning Police and emergency services were called to a crash on SH60, 2 kilometres south of Motueka. 

A vehicle driven South on SH60 by a female and only occupant has collided with a male person who was on the southbound lane. 

The male was found to be deceased on the arrival of emergency services. 

Police Crash Investigators are currently examining the scene and investigating the crash.
