Crash causes blackouts

Large parts of Mangere East and Central have lost power as a result of a motor vehicle crash on Walmsley Road near Waterview Road just before 5.00 am. 

Lines are down at the scene and lines contractors are en route.

Traffic lights at several major intersections are affected and it is hoped that repairs can be completed while traffic is relatively light. 

It is not thought that anyone was seriously injured in the crash as the occupants all ran from the scene.
