New free inflatable at AC Baths guarantees fun

A new large inflatable water toy designed to provide hours of free fun for kids has been purchased for the AC Baths with sponsorship funding from Youthtown.



The new 12 metre long inflatable incorporates an obstacle course with a slide at one end and is suitable for competent swimmers aged seven to 13 years old. It will be up and running in the outdoor 25 metre pool at the baths during weekends from 10 am until 5 to 6pm, weather permitting, and daily between 10 am and 6 pm during school holidays.



The inflatable was purchased after the AC Baths was successful in gaining a $6,000 grant from Youthtown. Youthtown is a non-profit organisation that uses proceeds from gaming machines to sponsor suitable activities and events for young people in the community where the grant money originated.



AC Baths manager Virginia Munro says the new inflatable is free of charge and complements existing activities like the hydro slides, the tarzan swing and bombing zone.
