Man Trapped Under Car in North Shore

Juniper Road, Sunnynook on the North Shore will remain closed until approximately 2.45 pm as Police Serious Crash staff examine the scene of an incident where a man was pinned under his own car.

It is thought that the 49 year old man had tried to stop his car rolling back down a driveway and became trapped underneath the vehicle.

Emergency services extracted the man who is now in North Shore Hospital with serious injuries.
